Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender or Front of House to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and presentation standards
- Engage with guests to ensure a positive experience, taking orders and providing recommendations when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to responsible service policies
- Manage cash register operations, including processing payments accurately
- Restock bar supplies as required to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
- Collaborate with team members to deliver efficient and friendly service during busy periods
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food safety and alcohol service
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality, particularly in serving or bartending roles, is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service practices
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour to engage with diverse guests
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
- A personable attitude with a genuine interest in hospitality and guest satisfaction
