A Taste of The Job
As a Shift Engineer at G&J Distillers, you'll be more than just the person who fixes breakdowns. You'll play a vital role in keeping one of the UK's leading distilleries and bottling operations running safely, efficiently and reliably 24/7.
Working across our bottling lines, distillation processes, utilities and warehousing operations, no two shifts are the same. One day you could be fault-finding complex automation systems, the next improving equipment reliability, supporting major changeovers, or delivering engineering improvements that reduce downtime and boost performance.
This is a hands-on role where you'll have the freedom to use your skills, make decisions and take ownership. You'll join a close-knit engineering team that values practical problem solving, continuous improvement and teamwork. If you enjoy getting stuck into real engineering challenges and want to see the direct impact of your work on a world-class manufacturing site, this is the role for you.
