We are currently seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead operations of our new 3PL warehouse site based in Stuntney, Cambridgeshire.
You will be responsible for a team of operatives and managing clients stock and order distributions. Our warehouses are busy environments so you will need to be able to work well under pressure. The ideal candidate must have:
- Experience in 3PL Logistics (At least 1 year)
- Experience in warehousing (Picking, packing etc.)
- Must have client/customer facing experience, including answering phone calls / online communications like Slack and emails in a professional manner.
- Must have at least 1 year of forklift experience (license preferable)
- Excellent numeracy skills
- Excellent literacy skills both written and verbal
- Must have experience using a WMS as well as PDAs (experience with using Mintsoft preferable)
- Must be able to heavy lift due to the nature of the work and products.
- Excellent time keeping.
- A high level of attention to detail.
- Flexibility/desire to work a varied shift to suit the needs of the business
- Experience in leadership and people management.
- Have organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Be familiar with logistics and shipping software and processes.
- Must be able to work well under pressure during busy periods.
Job role (Include but not limited to):
- Supervise daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to safety standards
- Overseeing stock inbound and outbound
- Manage day to day warehouse operations including staff tasks and rotas
- Manage stock effectively making sure that inventory controls are kept up to date
- Be prepared to operate as part of the warehouse operational team during busy periods to ensure that orders are picked and despatched on time shipping
- Returns
- Ensure efficient and accurate order fulfilment
- Implement and optimise warehouse operations.
- Must be able to lead and train staff in all aspects of the business.
- Coordinate with higher management to ensure smooth order flow and resolve issues.
- Oversee and optimise workflows
- Ensure compliance with retail customer requirements including labelling and conforming to retailer specific standards.
- Must prove yourself to be a trustworthy member of the team.

Pay: £33,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
