What will the job be?
Your role will be to assist the store team to maximise the potential of the store by providing exceptional customer service and promoting responsible pet ownership.
- Restocking shelves and freezers - restocked from our large walk in freezer, temp -18.
- Picking click and collects.
- Meeting and greeting customers.
- Operating the till and general housekeeping.
- Picking orders, including picking and packing them for our online side of the business from our store and large walk in freezer as required.
- Must be able to operate in a cold store, as raw feeders, we have extra large freezer, where our stock is kept.
- Unboxing deliveries, both ambient and frozen.
Inclusive of the business needs, but not limited to just these jobs.
Rate of pay:
£12.80 to £13.20 per hour and a staff discount.
We operate 7 days a week, rotas are planned a month in advanced, so prior warning is given for shifts. Usual hours during the week between 9am-5:30pm depending on the day. Weekends are 9-4pm.

Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ideally experience in merchandising and retail sales
- Proficient in basic mathematics and time management
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Strong organisational skills to manage inventory and store displays
- Familiarity with the local pet care market and trends
