3 Locks Brewing Company is Camden Market’s first-ever brewery, established in 2022. Located in the vibrant Hawley Wharf area, our independent brewery and taproom offer stunning views of the canal and a rotating menu of fresh beers brewed right on-site. We pride ourselves on being a tight-knit team that provides a unique, relaxed environment for locals and visitors alike to explore the world of craft beer.
The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, beer-loving Brewery Tour Guide to join our team on a part-time basis. As the face of our brewery tours, you will be responsible for providing an unforgettable experience for our guests, sharing the story of 3 Locks, and guiding them through the art of brewing.
Our tours are highly rated for being knowledgeable and fun—we are looking for someone who can follow in the footsteps of our top guides to deliver "lots of beers and lots of laughs".
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Guided Tours: Take guests on a full tour of our brewhouse, explaining our brewing process from grain to glass.
- Guided Tastings: Lead tastings of 6 different 3 Locks beers, providing flavor profiles and technical insights.
- Booking Management: Use platforms like Design My Night, Virgin Experience Days, Viator, and Get Your Guide to check in attendees and manage tour lists.
- Sales & Promotion: Encourage guests to take advantage of their 10% discount on taproom beers and merchandise.
- Admin Duties: Update tour data sheets and claim vouchers post-tour.
Requirements
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends, as this is our peak time for tours and events.
- Passion for Beer: A strong interest in craft beer is essential; previous brewing knowledge is preferred but not required, as we can provide training.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional public speaking skills and the ability to engage diverse groups of people.
- Positive Attitude: We are a growing team and value staff who are reliable, professional, and eager to learn.
