We're currently looking to recruit a HGV Class 2 Driver to join the Belgrade team. Previous Moffett forklift experience would be an advantage, but it's not essential, as full training and the required licence can be provided.
This is a customer-facing role, so we're looking for someone who takes pride not only in delivering building materials safely and efficiently, but also in providing outstanding customer service. As one of the faces of Belgrade, you'll build positive relationships with customers and help maintain the high standards of service we're known for.
Job Overview
You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of insulation and drylining materials to construction sites and customer premises. As one of the key faces of Belgrade Insulations, you'll play an important role in ensuring our customers receive their orders in full, on time, and in excellent condition.
Your professionalism, safe driving skills, and commitment to outstanding customer service will help keep construction projects running smoothly and strengthen the relationships we have with our customers.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class 2 HGV lorry, adhering to all road safety laws and company policies
- Plan and execute delivery routes efficiently, ensuring timely arrival at designated locations
- Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment, ensuring items are secured properly during transit
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify any maintenance or safety issues
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain necessary signatures upon completion of deliveries
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery schedules or any unforeseen delays
- Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment at all times
Requirements
- A valid HGV driving qualification C, digital tachograph card and driver CPC card.
- Moffett certification (desirable but Belgrade can provide training if needed)
- Strong knowledge of road safety and transportation regulations.
- Excellent time management, communication and organisational skills.
- A team player and can also work using their own initiative.
- The driver needs to be health and safety aware.
- Report all vehicle/ driver incidents, accidents, offences and fines to the transport manager on duty.
- Experience in the insulation and drylining industry or familiarity with construction materials is advantageous.
