We are a family-run garage in the heart of Walsall, operating on over 25 years of industry experience with over 5000 regular customers. Join our dynamic team as a Motor Mechanic, where you'll be at the forefront of vehicle maintenance and repair. We are looking for a time served mechanic who is looking for stability & full time employment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools to identify necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Carry out MOT failure repair work
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, and fluid replacements to keep vehicles running optimally.
- Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools.
- Previous experience replacing cambelts, clutches, etc.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs & complete service checklists.
- Provide customer service by explaining repairs clearly and precisely & advising future recommendations for ongoing vehicle care.
- Work well as part of the garage team.
Skills
- Previous experience as a time served mechanic required
- MOT license not compulsory to apply
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems
- Must have own hand tools (specialist tools will be provided where necessary)
