Cool 365 Ltd is a growing air conditioning design, installation and service company operating across London and the South East.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable, organised and motivated Warehouse & Operations Apprentice to join our team.
This is a varied, hands-on role covering warehouse operations, stock control, tools and equipment, company vehicles, waste management and general business administration.
You will receive full training and support, with the opportunity to take increasing responsibility as your experience develops.
Key Responsibilities Warehouse & Stock
- Receive, check and organise supplier deliveries.
- Maintain an organised warehouse and storage areas.
- Carry out stock takes and help maintain accurate stock records.
- Monitor stock levels and report shortages.
- Prepare materials, parts and equipment for engineers and upcoming projects.
- Manage returned and surplus materials from completed jobs.
Tools & Equipment
- Help manage company tools and specialist equipment.
- Maintain records of equipment issued to engineers.
- Report damaged, faulty or missing equipment.
- Help coordinate equipment servicing, inspections and calibration.
Company Vans
- Help coordinate MOTs, servicing, repairs and maintenance of company vehicles.
- Assist with the company's regular van cleaning programme.
- Maintain vehicle records and monitor reported damage or defects.
- Deliver and collect vehicles from garages when required.
Deliveries & Collections
- Carry out ad hoc deliveries and collections of parts, materials, tools and equipment to engineers, suppliers and customer sites.
- Collect urgently required materials and parts from suppliers when required.
- Assist with courier bookings and collections.
Waste & Facilities
- Help manage waste and recycling within the warehouse.
- Coordinate collections of scrap metal, cardboard and other waste through approved contractors.
- Keep warehouse, waste and storage areas clean, safe and organised.
- Report any building or facilities issues.
Business Administration
- Answer the office door and greet visitors professionally.
- Receive and process post, parcels and deliveries.
- Assist with data entry, spreadsheets, filing and record keeping.
- Help maintain records relating to stock, vehicles and equipment.
- Provide general administrative support to the wider business when required.
What We're Looking For
- Reliable, punctual and keen to learn.
- Organised with good attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in both a warehouse and office environment.
- Confident using computers and willing to learn new systems.
- Practical and comfortable working around tools, materials and vehicles.
- Good communication skills.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to take responsibility as experience develops.
- Full UK driving licence required.
