Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of hair styling services including braiding, weaving, twisting, and other creative styles tailored to client preferences.
- Deliver professional barbering services such as fades, trims, and grooming to meet diverse client needs.
- Provide personalized consultations to understand client desires and recommend suitable styles or treatments.
- Maintain a clean, organized work station adhering to health and safety standards.
- Offer additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application to enhance client satisfaction.
- Engage with clients at the front desk by scheduling appointments, upselling products or services, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience.
- Mentor junior staff and apprentices by sharing techniques, offering guidance, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
Skills
- Proven expertise in hair styling, braiding techniques, barbering, and related beauty services.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients.
- Experience managing a salon or store environment including front desk operations and appointment scheduling.
- Ability to upsell products and services effectively while maintaining genuine client relationships.
- Skilled in mentoring team members to elevate overall salon performance.
- Knowledge of eyelash extensions and makeup application is a plus for offering comprehensive beauty solutions.
