Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our marketing initiatives and drive sales growth within our Weddings Department. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in marketing, project management, and digital marketing strategies. This role requires excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as proficiency in various marketing tools and platforms. The Wedding Sales Manager will be responsible for developing comprehensive marketing strategies to ensure the achievement of business objectives. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to attract new wedding clients and collaborators.
- Build strong relationships with, suppliers, and other wedding professionals.
- Manage and grow enquiries from couples, converting leads into bookings.
- Create and deliver marketing campaigns across digital platforms (social media, email, web, and print).
- Represent the brand at wedding fairs, showcases, and industry networking events.
- Monitor industry trends to keep our brand relevant and ahead of the curve.
- Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and drive revenue growth.
- Oversee content creation for various platforms, ensuring high-quality copywriting that aligns with brand messaging.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on goals and timelines.
- Provide leadership to the Weddings team, mentoring staff to enhance their skills and performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales and marketing management within a Wedding environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Proven experience in sales and marketing, within the wedding or events industry.
- Strong network of contacts within the wedding sector (desirable).
- Creative eye for marketing and a passion for weddings.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Results-driven with the ability to meet and exceed targets.
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage multiple projects at once.
- Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and verbal,
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a focus on team development and motivation.
- Time management skills that enable prioritisation of tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
