We are looking for a motivated and organised Reseller & Inventory Assistant to help manage, list, and sell a large inventory of clothing and household items across multiple online platforms.
The successful candidate will play a key role in helping us clear stock by the 31 October, maximising sales value while maintaining accurate inventory records and excellent customer communication.
Applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis, and the vacancy may close once a suitable candidate has been appointed.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Assess the condition of clothing and other items before listing.
- Sort and categorise stock, including:
- Designer and non-designer clothing
- Dresses and suits by category and value
- Accessories & Shoes
- Maintain a well-organised storage system and ensure stock locations are accurately recorded.
Online Selling
- Create high-quality listings for items across:
- Vinted
- eBay
- Facebook Marketplace
- Depop
- Take clear, captivating product photographs.
- Write compelling item descriptions and optimise pricing to maximise sales.
- Create and manage product bundles to increase sell-through rates.
- Prioritise the sale of high-value and space-consuming items.
Sales & Inventory Tracking
- Track listed, sold, and available inventory using Vendoo and internal systems.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity.
- Upload weekly sales and listing reports to SharePoint.
- Ensure sold items can be easily located for dispatch.
- Preparing sold orders ready for distribution.
Customer Service
- Manage buyer enquiries and post-sale communications.
- Support smooth transaction processes across multiple platforms.
- Maintain positive seller ratings through excellent service.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Evidenced portfolio of selling on platforms such as Vinted, eBay, Depop, or Facebook Marketplace.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to assess clothing quality, brands, and resale value.
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks.
- Good written communication skills.
- Lift, carry, and maneuver sample products, inventory, and equipment weighing up to 20 kg (up to 50 lbs) independently, using proper lifting techniques. Reasonable adjustments will be considered where appropriate.
Desirable
- Experience using Vendoo or similar cross-listing software.
- Knowledge of designer and vintage clothing brands.
- Experience in second-hand fashion, resale, or e-commerce.
- Understanding of pricing strategies and inventory management.
