We are looking for a hardworking, reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team. The successful candidate will play an important role in keeping the kitchen clean, organised and running smoothly, while supporting the chefs and wider kitchen team during busy service periods.
Key Responsibilities
- Washing, cleaning and sanitising dishes, pots, pans, utensils and kitchen equipment.
- Keeping the kitchen, storage areas and washing-up areas clean and organised.
- Assisting chefs with basic food preparation when required.
- Ensuring floors, work surfaces and equipment are kept clean and hygienic.
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
- Receiving, moving and storing deliveries safely.
- Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, health and safety at all times.
- Cleaning kitchen equipment and carrying out regular cleaning duties.
- Supporting the kitchen team during busy periods.
- Following company policies, food safety procedures and COSHH requirements.
- Carrying out any other reasonable duties requested by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.

- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Able to work well as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Willing to learn and take direction.
- Able to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential.
- Flexible to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
