Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs? We are working with a welcoming primary school in BS4 who are seeking 2 enthusiastic SEN Learning Support Assistants for long term roles starting in September.

You will be providing dedicated support to pupils with SEN across the school, working closely with class teachers, SENCOs and the wider staff team to help children achieve their full potential. The school has a supportive leadership team, a strong focus on inclusion and a friendly, nurturing environment where every child is valued.
The Role:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
- Supporting children with autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH and other additional needs
- Delivering targeted interventions to support learning and development
- Assisting with phonics, reading, literacy and numeracy activities
- Supporting pupils with EHCP targets and working alongside the SENCO
- Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and positive learning behaviours
- Using strategies to support emotional regulation and positive behaviour
- Contributing to a calm, inclusive and supportive classroom environment
We Are Looking For:
- Experience working with children with SEN in a school or education setting (essential)
- Understanding of autism, ADHD, SEMH or other additional needs
- A patient, nurturing and child centred approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Enthusiasm, adaptability and a genuine passion for supporting pupil progress and wellbeing
- Experience with personal care is desirable but not essential
