Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver/Labourer to join our team. This role will involve collecting waste from our various work sites, delivering to waste transfer stations. Collecting materials from suppliers and delivering them to work sites. When there is no waste to be collected, we would require you to be on site to be a labourer.
For the right person, there will be opportunities to progress within the company. Company vehicle will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Tipper Van, in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies.
- Deliver goods to specified locations efficiently and punctually, ensuring proper handling during transit.
- Collection of waste from work sites and delivering them safely to Waste transfer sites.
- Assist with loading and unloading goods using appropriate manual handling techniques and mechanical aids where necessary.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly.
- General site labouring tasks
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating tipper vans or similar vehicles is preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar role is required.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical fitness to handle manual labour tasks such as lifting, loading, and unloading goods safely.
Pay: £120.00-£180.00 per day
