Supervisor – The Canbury Arms, Kingston upon Thames
Join our friendly front-of-house team at The Canbury Arms, a welcoming neighbourhood pub in Kingston upon Thames known for great hospitality, warm service, and a lively community feel. We’re looking for a confident, upbeat Supervisor who can help lead shifts, support colleagues, and make sure every guest leaves with a memorable experience.
What you’ll do:
Lead busy shifts with confidence, keeping service smooth, efficient, and welcoming.
Be a friendly face for guests, handling questions or issues with professionalism and care.
Support, train, and motivate the team, helping to build a positive and energetic culture.
Keep standards high across cleanliness, safety, licensing, and day-to-day operations.
Assist with stock control, deliveries, cash handling, and shift handovers.
What you’ll bring:
– Previous experience in a pub, bar, restaurant, or similar hospitality setting.
– Great communication skills and a natural ability to lead by example.
– A genuine passion for hospitality and creating excellent guest experiences.
– Reliability, initiative, and the confidence to stay calm when things get busy.
– A positive attitude and willingness to get stuck in as part of the team.
