We're looking for experienced and compassionate Peripatetic Care & Support Workers to join our team and provide flexible support across a range of services, covering annual leave and absence. What You'll Be Doing
As a Peripatetic Care & Support Worker, you'll:
✅ Deliver person-centred support that promotes independence, dignity, and choice.
✅ Support people in their own homes and communities to live the life they choose.
✅ Assist with personal care and daily living activities where required.
✅ Encourage social inclusion, wellbeing, and meaningful community connections.
✅ Work collaboratively with families, colleagues, and professionals.
✅ Adapt to different teams and services, providing consistent, high-quality support.
✅ Maintain accurate records and contribute to excellent service delivery.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who:
- Has at least 2 year’s experience providing person-centred care and support.
- Is adaptable, reliable, and comfortable working across different teams.
- Shares SOL's values and passion for supporting people to achieve great lives.
- Has strong communication skills and a positive, solution-focused attitude.
- Is registered with the SSSC (or willing to register).
- Is a member of the PVG Scheme (or willing to join).

Working Pattern
Our two-week rolling rota means you'll always know your scheduled days off:
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday
Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
Contracted hours: 42 hours per week (36 hours Week 1, 48 hours Week 2).
Sleepovers will be required depending on the services you support. Staff are also expected to work either Christmas or New Year as part of a rotational arrangement.
