Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled GDC-registered Dental Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing a range of dental procedures with their scope of practice, utilising evidence-based practices to enhance and maintain their oral health. The Dental Therapist will work collaboratively with other dentists and dental specialists to deliver comprehensive care tailored to each individual's needs.
Duties
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine patients' needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions, employing various dental techniques and modalities.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records, documenting progress and treatment outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including to ensure holistic care for clients, including referrals to other specialists when necessary.
- Stay updated with the latest research and developments in therapeutic practices and incorporate them into treatment strategies.
- Educate clients about their conditions and empower them with coping strategies and resources for self-management.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the practice.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are crucial for maintaining client records accurately.
- A commitment to ethical practice and continuous professional development in the field of therapy.
