Title: Accounting Manager
Demo Co. is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join our growing team. As an Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in the management and maintenance of our company's financial records and processes. You will work closely with our finance team to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, general ledger, and month-end close procedures
- Develop and maintain financial procedures and policies to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
- Manage financial reporting and analysis, providing accurate and timely financial information to support business decisions
- Monitor and analyze budget variances, identifying areas for cost reduction and revenue increase
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve internal controls and identify process efficiencies
- Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations
- Lead year-end audits and review financial statements for accuracy and completeness
- Mentor and develop accounting staff, providing training and guidance as needed
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in accounting regulations and standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2 years in a management position
- CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience with financial reporting
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Office, specifically Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
