We are a small but growing company that is passionate about making a positive change in children and young people’s lives. We are committed to providing the highest quality Children’s Homes with a stable, caring and holistic environment, enabling all those we support to develop, grow and ultimately flourish.
Our Home and our children
We currently have four homes in Gloucestershire for children ranging from 7 - 17 years old, with three in Hereford and three in Worcestershire!
Each home has a supportive and caring staff team at each who follow a holistic attachment focused approach.
Our children are incredible and will definitely keep you on your toes with no two days the same. Although it can be challenging at times, it can also be the most fun and rewarding job you will ever have! A sense of humour is a must!
Our children are with us for a variety of reasons and many will have experienced traumatic life events. They need empathy, care, love, play and stability to help them flourish and move onto the next stage of their life, whether that is going home, independence, university or another placement. First and foremost, you must like and enjoy being with our children! This is the key requisite for all our employees.
We are looking for experienced adults who are passionate about our children and are looking to work using an attachment based approach which really does put the child at the centre of all that we do.
To help you and our children we have a respected clinical psychologist who provides individual and team support to our home. We also provide training for all staff which is predominantly face to face and includes mandatory and specialist courses (both internal and external). We provide excellent career development and progression opportunities.
We have also invested significantly in a bespoke individualised recording system to help ensure you are free to spend as much time as possible with our children. This also ensures that information is easily accessible and at your fingertips when needed.

This is a role based upon shift work, so you must be able to work weekends, evenings and sleep ins.
At Flourish we aim to create and maintain a safe working environment and follow a robust recruitment process, therefore any successful candidates will go through an enhanced DBS and reference check.
