This is an opportunity to take ownership of security clearance administration, supporting employees, contractors, consultants, and key stakeholders while ensuring all processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with organisational, client, and government security requirements.
If you thrive in a regulated environment, enjoy managing complex processes, and have a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and customer service, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
Working within the Audit and Assurance function, reporting to the Head of SHEQ, you will manage the end-to-end security clearance process across the business. You will act as the primary point of contact for security vetting matters, supporting applicants and stakeholders throughout the clearance journey.
You will maintain accurate records, monitor clearance statuses and renewals, liaise with Vetting authorities, and provide reporting and management information to support operational and compliance requirements.
This role requires a high level of discretion, organisation, and attention to detail, ensuring sensitive information is handled appropriately while delivering an efficient and professional security clearance service.
What You’ll Be Doing

Providing guidance and support on security clearance processes, policies, and requirements.
-
Identifying opportunities to improve processes, procedures, and customer service within the security clearance function.
-
Ensuring all security information is managed in line with GDPR, data protection, and information security requirements.

Experience within security clearance, vetting, compliance, HR administration, or a similar regulated environment.
-
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
-
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing documentation and maintaining records.
-
Experience managing confidential or sensitive information professionally and discreetly.
-
Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with employees, managers, contractors, and external stakeholders.
-
Experience maintaining databases, records, and producing accurate reports.
-
A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to improve processes.
-
Confidence working independently while managing a high volume of activity in a fast-paced environment.
-
Good IT skills including Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Candidates will be required to complete security clearance documentation. Any offer of employment will be conditional upon successfully obtaining the required security clearance.
