We are seeking an experienced and passionate Curry Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. Duties
- Most have knowledge to Make a Dish (Momo)
- Prepare a variety of traditional and innovative curry dishes in accordance with recipes and quality standards
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to food safety regulations
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to maintain high standards of food production and presentation
- Manage food preparation processes, including ingredient sourcing, portion control, and waste minimisation
- Lead the team during service hours, ensuring timely delivery of orders and excellent customer experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
- Monitor stock levels, place orders as needed, and manage inventory efficiently
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction
- Uphold standards of hospitality by assisting with serving customers when required
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food production, specialising in curry or Asian cuisine preferred
- Strong background in cooking, food preparation, and kitchen management within a busy restaurant or hospitality setting
- Supervising experience with team management skills to motivate and lead kitchen staff effectively
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in a professional kitchen environment
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
- Leadership qualities combined with a passion for culinary excellence
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and front-of-house staff effectively
