Job Overview
We are looking for a Product Developer/Designer who will be highly motivated, enthusiastic and a team player to bring our product to the next level. You will be involved in identifying key trends to create new Playing Kit and Teamwear for pro /grassroots clubs. As part of the team, you will collaborate with our development team to interpret concepts and translate them into viable products for multiple sports that cater for different markets. This is a very fast paced role, where you will need to be a highly focused, organised and driven person to ensuring your creations stand out from our competitors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Researching and develop key trends in trims, fabric, prints and products that can be incorporated into development process.
- Researching brand competitors within their sport fields and ensure our product adds value within the market.
- Design and develop all teamwear, from stock leisurewear packages, Playing kits, training gear and all key products for men’s/ladies and kids.
- Manage your product development process, from initial design concept, producing detailed technical packs (spec sheets) that outline all aspects of the product.
- Signing off first samples and PPS samples for production. Through garment measuring/fitting and checking all details are correct.
- Working with our factories and sales teams on critical paths to ensure all product meet deliveries. This may involve visiting our customers, suppliers or factories.
- Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure our quality standards are met through our factory supplies.
- To be able to work effectively alone and as part of a team and to be able to influence and communicate at all levels including with senior management, suppliers, and sales teams.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES REQUIRED
- Qualification to degree level or similar in Fashion Design/Textiles Management.
- Two years proven work experience in a design and manufacturing.
- Excellent Adobe Illustrator/ photoshop experience/knowledge.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
- Confident in their ideas/decisions and be able to perform effectively under pressure and within timescales.
- Meticulous eye for detail for QC of garments and checking documents for all products.
- Adaptive to change, excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, ambition, and the drive to progress.
DESIRABLE
- A knowledge of 3D Pattern platforms.
- Good knowledge of Sportswear product and sublimated printing.
- Valid Driving Licence.
- Ability and willingness to travel when necessary.

Pay: £33,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
