Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Roofing Contractor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on a variety of building types. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain various roofing systems using appropriate materials and techniques
- Conduct inspections to assess roof condition and identify necessary repairs or replacements
- Measure and cut materials accurately using hand tools and power tools
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and building codes
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of projects
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, patching, or applying protective coatings as needed
- Fabricate custom components or modifications using welding or fabrication techniques when required
- Assist in the organisation and logistics of materials and equipment on-site
Qualifications
- Proven experience in roofing, carpentry, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical work or related trades is highly desirable
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in roofing and construction work
- Knowledge of fabrication processes and welding techniques is advantageous
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good physical fitness with the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Relevant certifications or licences related to roofing or construction trades are preferred but not essential
- Commitment to safety standards and procedures at all times

Pay: £97.68-£250.00 per day
