Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all food preparation and serving processes.
- Assist in the kitchen with food preparation tasks, ensuring timely delivery of meals.
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately and efficiently.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed within designated time frames.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for change calculations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred but not essential.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of food safety practices is essential.
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to help colleagues and customers alike.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
