Overview
Austin Racing manufactures premium, world-class titanium motorcycle exhaust systems exported to performance enthusiasts and racers globally. We are seeking a meticulously organised and proactive Packing & Shipping Specialist to oversee the final, crucial stage of our production line.
Duties
- Packing orders: Managing the workload of completed systems ensuring the maximum number of orders get sent each day.
- Quality Control: Act as the final line of defence for quality control, checking laser etching, welds, and surface finishes before dispatch.
- Dispatch Workshop Management: Maintain an immaculate, safe and fully stocked packing area with adequate box sizes, protective foam, and shipping supplies.
- Laser Etching: Potential to use our laser etch machine to finish of the products.
Qualities/requirements.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous eye for detail to ensure correct fittings are included and surface finishes remain spotless.
- Computer Literacy: Comfortable navigating spreadsheet software, and apple Mac software
- Physical Stamina: Comfortable standing for extended periods and handling standard manual packing tasks safely.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize daily dispatch deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Team Player: Clear communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
- Previous experience in dispatch, goods-in, or warehouse logistics within a manufacturing setting.
Pay: From £27,300.00 per year
