Opa Meze Restaurant is looking for an energetic and reliable Food Runner / Busser to join our front-of-house team. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced, vibrant restaurant environment with strong earning potential through tips and service charge in addition to your hourly wage.
About the Role
As a Food Runner / Busser, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth service and an excellent dining experience for our guests. You’ll support both the kitchen and wait staff by keeping service efficient, tables clean, and guests well looked after.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver food promptly and accurately from kitchen to tables
- Clear and reset tables quickly and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area
- Support servers and kitchen staff during busy service periods
- Ensure high standards of hygiene and presentation
- Provide a friendly and professional presence in the restaurant
What We’re Looking For
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Strong team player with good communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Must be available to work weekends and late-night shifts
- Previous hospitality experience is an advantage but not essential
