CSS Trading Group Ltd is a leading builder’s merchant based in Colnbrook. We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV HIAB driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering building materials to various locations in and around the London area. This role requires a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, and the ability to navigate the busy London roads efficiently.
Responsibilities
Safe and Timely Delivery: Transport building materials to customer sites across London and surrounding areas.
Loading/Unloading: Assist with the loading and unloading of materials, ensuring all items are secure and undamaged.
Route Planning: Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries while minimizing fuel consumption.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by communicating with customers regarding delivery times, resolving any issues, and handling products with care.
Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any issues, ensuring the truck is clean and maintained to a high standard.
Adherence to Regulations: Comply with all road safety laws, driving regulations, and company policies.
Documentation: Keep accurate delivery records and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly.
Experience
- Previous experience as a HIAB driver
- Proficient in driving flatbed lorries
- Valid commercial driving licence
- Must have valid HIAB and CPC card
