We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Casual Cleaner to join our friendly support staff team, providing cover for staff absences on an ad hoc basis.
This flexible role is ideal for someone looking for occasional work and who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
About the Role
As a Casual Cleaner, you will be responsible for helping to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment across our school and boarding facilities. Hours will vary depending on operational needs and staff absence, with work available during term time and, occasionally, during school holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning classrooms, offices, corridors and communal areas.
- Cleaning boarding accommodation, including bedrooms, bathrooms and common rooms.
- Vacuuming, mopping and dusting.
- Emptying bins and replenishing consumables.
- Cleaning and sanitising toilets and washroom facilities.
- Following health and safety procedures and safe use of cleaning equipment and products.
- Reporting any maintenance or health and safety concerns to the appropriate member of staff.
- Supporting the wider facilities team as required.

- Takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Has previous cleaning experience (desirable but not essential, as training will be provided).
