Sam Turner’s are a local and regional leader in the sale of garden machinery, our main brands include Stihl, Husqvarna, Hayter, Mountfield and Honda. Working as a member of a small team within our busy and specialist garden machinery dept your main duty is to provide our customers with a high standard of customer service, advice and guidance whether they are in-store, over the telephone. Nothing should be too much trouble and a positive and helpful attitude is essential. Good communication skills, computer literacy, a pleasant telephone manner and an interest in garden machinery may be an advantage.
As well as providing excellent customer care other duties will include display and presentation of stock, picking orders for customers, preparation of machines, stock-taking, housekeeping and anything else that assists in the smooth operation of the department. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic people person who works well as part of a team.
The hours, full-time 40 - 42.5 hours per week, 5 days to include one weekend day per week in accordance with the rota.
