We are currently seeking a dedicated and accomplished Senior Sommelier to join our esteemed wine team. As a Senior Sommelier,you will play a pivotal role in curating our extensive wine list,providing expert guidance to guests,and contributing to the overall excellence of our dining experience. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and curate the wine program,ensuring a diverse and exceptional selection.
- Provide expert recommendations to guests,suggesting wine pairings that enhance their dining experience.
- Training and mentoring the sommelier team,fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Conduct regular tastings and educational sessions for staff and guests.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and execute wine-focused events and promotions.
- Manage wine inventory,order supplies,and ensure proper storage conditions.
- Stay informed about industry trends,new releases,and emerging winemakers.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Sommelier or in a similar leadership role within a high-end restaurant.
- Extensive knowledge of wines,regions,and varietals,supported by relevant certifications.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Impeccable grooming and presentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and efficiently manage tasks.
- Familiarity with inventory management and ordering processes.
