Overview
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Barista/All Rounder to join our vibrant team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all customers. Prior experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and other beverages in accordance with company standards
- Assist with food preparation and presentation to ensure quality and freshness
- Serve customers efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all work areas, adhering to food safety regulations
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth daily operations
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to minimise wait times
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers
Skills
- Previous barista experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for those eager to learn
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Experience in serving customers with professionalism and friendliness
- Basic food preparation skills, including handling ingredients and assembling orders
- Good numerical skills for handling transactions and managing stock levels
- Strong organisational abilities to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely service delivery
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
