Off-Licence Assistant
We are looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking Off-Licence Assistant to join our team.
Main Responsibilities
- Providing excellent customer service and assisting customers with their purchases.
- Operating the till accurately and handling cash and card payments.
- Restocking shelves and ensuring products are displayed neatly.
- Checking deliveries and putting stock away safely and efficiently.
- Keeping the shop clean, tidy and well organised.
- Checking product dates and maintaining good stock rotation.
- Following all legal requirements regarding age-restricted products, including carrying out Challenge 25 checks when required.
- Assisting with stock checks and reporting low or missing stock.
- Helping to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for customers and staff.
- Supporting other day-to-day duties within the shop as required.
Requirements
- Friendly and approachable manner.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is desirable but not essential.
- Must be comfortable working with cash and handling age-restricted products responsibly.
