The Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join our team. This role is key to ensuring our products and processes consistently meet quality, regulatory, and customer requirements while supporting continuous improvement across the organisation.
Responsibilities:
· Create, develop and maintain quality standards across the organisation
· Analyse quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
· Develop and implement quality standards, procedures, and control systems.
· Conduct inspections, testing, and audits of materials, processes, and products.
· Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
· Participate in new product development to ensure quality is built into design and manufacturing.
· Work towards implementation of applicable standards and management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
· Support internal and external audits, including customer and regulatory audits.
· Provide training on quality tools and practices to staff as needed
The Ideal Candidate
· A minimum of 4 years experience in a quality engineering/technician role
· Practical Lead or internal auditing experience
· Strong understanding of quality control standards and methodologies.
· Proficiency in root cause analysis tools (5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, FMEA, etc.).
· Familiarity with Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Working Hours
37.5hours per week
Monday to Thursday, 8am – 4:30pm
Friday 8am – 2pm with a degree of flexibility to ensure business needs are met.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
