We are looking for a keen and motivated individual to join our engineering team as a field engineer.
Following successful completion of their training you will become part of our field engineering team, deploying and supporting our Cloudcell EQ solutions into customer premises. Training will be provided through a combination of theoretical, practical and ‘on the job’ training sessions delivered by our experienced engineers.
Responsibilities on completion of training:
· Perform on-site surveys to evaluate the availability and performance of 4G, 4G+, 5G, Starlink and WiFi coverage.
· Manage the configuration and setup of high-end cellular routers.
· Carry out the deployment of cellular routers and antennas at customer sites.
· Perform the setup of customers' internal WiFi networks and connectivity to on site equipment (routers, firewalls and switches), including cable installation and VPN configuration.
· Provide support to the technical operations team to rapidly resolve customer faults and queries.
· Oversee updating and monitoring of relevant internal/external IT systems with installation information.
· There will be a need stay overnight when required
Required
· Clean UK driving license
· Math and English GCSE
· Practical skills with both powered and unpowered skills
· Knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP addressing, routing protocols and WiFi
Desired
· CSCS labourers card
· Experience running and terminating data cables
· Installing and configuring switches and routers
· Installing and testing meshed WiFi systems
· Installing CCTV cameras and DVR’s
· Troubleshooting network faults (LAN or WAN)

Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
