Global Travel & Cruise is an established, independent travel company with over 25 years of experience creating exceptional holidays for a loyal and discerning client base. Specialising in luxury, tailor-made and experiential travel, we are now seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager to join our successful team at our Nantwich branch.

The Role
As Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of the branch, driving sales performance, and ensuring the highest standards of customer service.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the management and development of the branch team
- Leading by example through the design and sale of bespoke luxury and experiential travel itineraries
- Supporting colleagues with product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service excellence
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships from initial enquiry through to post-travel follow-up
- Monitoring branch performance and contributing to the achievement of sales targets
- Helping to motivate the team and create a positive, professional working environment
- Assisting with branch administration and operational duties as required
- Delivering exceptional customer experiences and personalised travel recommendations
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience within the travel industry, ideally in a senior consultant, supervisor, or management role
- Strong knowledge of luxury, tailor-made, and experiential travel products
- A confident and successful salesperson with a passion for travel
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to motivate and support colleagues while maintaining personal sales performance
- Professional, approachable, and customer-focused at all times
- Self-motivated with a proactive and responsible approach to work
- Experience within an independent travel agency would be highly advantageous
