SUMMARY OF POST: We are looking for a compassionate, reliable and organised Field Care Supervisor to join our growing team. This is a community based role supporting the quality and delivery of care services within our domiciliary care service. The successful candidtae will be responsible for carrying out quality assurance visits including spot checks, face to face service user reviews and risk assessments. You will be working closely with the office team to ensure that high standards of care are maintained at all times. This role may also require you to provide hands on care and cover care calls when required due to staff absence or emergency situations.
QUALIFICATONS : Willing to work towards NVQ L3 ( Essential)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry out regular spot checks to monitor the quality of care provided by care staff
- Complete service user reviews in their homes and ensure the care plans remain accurate and perseon centred
- Undertake and review risk assessments to promote safe care delivery
- Observe staff practice and provide constructive feedback where appropriate
- Report any safeguarding concerns, incidents or quality issues promptly
- Build positive relationships with service user, their families and care staff
- Support the office team with maintaining high compliance standards
- Provide care cover when required to ensure continuity of care for service users
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience working in domiciliary care
- Experience delivering personal care and supporting vulnerable adults
- full Uk driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Good written and IT skills for completing records
- Understanding of safeguarding, dignity, person centred care and confidentiality
- Flexible approach to work including covering care calls when necessary
DESIRABLE
- Previous experience as a Senior Carer, Team Leader or Field Care Supervisor
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Health and Social Care
- Knowledge of CQC standards and domiciliary care regulations
