Role Purpose:
This is an exciting opportunity for a self motivated financial administrator with a passion to provide an excellent customer service experience.
Working as part of the awesome Pub Utility Team, this role provides a multi skilled service where you will be responsible for a portfolio of accounts and the day to day administration of our Group Energy Scheme.
As a confident communicator you will work closely with our energy suppliers and internal stakeholders to proactively manage our Publicans Utility Accounts.
Accountabilities:
- Management & detailed review of Publican utility accounts, ensuring accurately billed and weekly installments cover energy used for the portfolio of pubs.
- Ensure records are accurately maintained to reflect all activity associated with the publicans utility account.
- Pro-active management of supplier queries and disputes through to resolution keeping all key stake holders informed throughout each stage.
- All new Publicans are welcomed with a detailed explanation of how the Punch Energy Scheme operates and receive ongoing support
- Validation of complex supplier billing and prepare for processing into the finance system.

Person Specification - Technical Competencies / Professional expertise
- Strong Communication and Influencing Skills
- Ability to build commercial relationships with internal and external customers
- Confident and Professional telephone manner
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines in a busy environment
- Flexibility to meet demands of the business as the role requires
- Previous financial accounts experience with the ability to understand review and interpret customer accounts
- GCSE (or equivalent) grade 4 or above in English and Maths
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
