Our small and friendly Chartered Accountancy Practice in Warminster is looking to recruit an experienced Accounts and Taxation professional with a background in general practice, initially to cover maternity leave, although the position could be extended. The work will be varied involving Accounts Preparation for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies. Self Assessment Tax Returns, Company Tax Returns, the completion of VAT Returns, Bookkeeping and Payroll.
You should preferably hold a professional accountancy or taxation qualification such as AAT or ATT although we would be more than happy to consider someone qualified by experience.
Knowledge of Sage and Quickbooks would be preferred.
The role will necessitate direct communication with clients and will require the candidate to be organised, accurate and used to meeting statutory deadlines. Strong GCSE/GCE grades in Maths and English are essential. Previous experience in working within an accountancy practice is essential.
Our team includes a range of full and part time staff and the odd dog or two.
School hours may be considered for the right candidate and we are happy to be accommodating in regards to some element of flexi time.
Salary dependant on hours and experience.
