Little Explorers day Nursery and Pre-school is looking for a warm, enthusiastic Nursery Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly team. To provide nutritious meals, using fresh ingredients everyday.

Qualification Bonus

Responsibilities
- Cook and serve healthy, balanced meals and snacks for children aged 0-5
- Cater for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers with varied dietary needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe and well -organised kitchen
- Work closely with nursery staff to manage allergies and dietary restrictions,
- Order and manage stock following nursery budgets
- support menu development in line with the EYFS nutritional guidance.
Qualifications
- Minimum Level 2 food and hygiene qualification
- Allergen awareness is essential.
- Knowledge of meal plans and portion sizes.
- Able to work alongside others, and manage staff duties within the kitchen.
- Enhanced DBS is required
