Summary
We are seeking a Night Care Assistant to join our caring team at Westcroft Nursing Home in GB. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our residents during the night shift, embodying our values of compassion and respect.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and compassionate care to residents during night hours.
- Assist with personal hygiene, mobility, and comfort needs.
- Monitor residents' health and report any concerns to the nursing staff.
- Follow care plans accurately to ensure each resident's individual needs are met.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
- Support residents' emotional well-being through attentive listening and companionship.
- Qualifications
- Prior experience in a care home or similar setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently during night shifts.
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support elderly residents.
- Valid driving license is advantageous but not essential.
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes.
- Ability to follow care plans meticulously.
