The role of Accounts Payable Assistant:
- Process supplier invoices and ensure accurate coding to relevant accounts.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and process payment runs in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Assist in month-end closing activities by providing necessary documentation and reports.
- Respond to supplier queries and maintain positive relationships.
- Work closely with the wider accounting and finance team to support projects as needed.
- Provide administrative support for the accounts payable function when required.
The ideal Accounts Payable Assistant:
- Have previous experience in Accounts Payable
- Be able to consider a temporary role initially
- Be able to commute full time to the Alderley Edge office
The Accounts Payable Assistant will play a key role in ensuring accurate and efficient processing of financial transactions within the manufacturing industry.
This temporary position based in Wilmslow requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of accounting processes.
