The Role:
- Preparing fresh cooked meals on a daily basis
- Promoting and monitoring a high standard of food safety and hygiene processes so good HACCP and COSHH knowledge is essential
- Adhering to nutritional guidelines
- Understanding special diets
- Maintain a “clean as you go” policy
- Adhere to Health and Safety procedures
- Adhere to Food Hygiene standards
- Excellent record keeping skills
- Home Baking
- Responsibility for kitchen assistants including motivating and leading
What we are looking for:
- You will need to have at least 2 years chef experience, ideally working in a care setting.
- Working with fresh food and menu planning
- Be able to within a team to produce high quality, nutritious, appetising meals for up to 43 residents.
- You must be personable and a good communicator
- Having the ability to show drive, ambition and an ability to motivate and nurture talent within the team.

The post is full time, working 35 hours per week 4 days over 7. The earliest start is 7.30am and the latest finish is 6pm
Pay: £13.05 per hour
