Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Labourer to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for supporting landscape maintenance, construction projects, and general site upkeep. Your enthusiasm and hands-on approach will help ensure that outdoor spaces are safe, functional, and visually appealing. Duties
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, mowing, and mulching to keep outdoor areas vibrant and healthy
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery including excavators and irrigation systems to support construction and landscaping projects
- Perform routine site maintenance including debris removal, fencing repairs, and surface leveling to ensure safety and accessibility
- Support the installation and upkeep of irrigation systems to promote healthy plant growth
- Conduct basic mechanical inspections and troubleshooting on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Assist with construction activities by preparing sites, moving materials, and supporting skilled tradespeople as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, tools, and equipment to uphold safety standards and operational efficiency
Skills
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or gardening with a strong understanding of horticulture principles
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on tools and machinery
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and small construction equipment such as excavators
- Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and maintenance techniques
- Ability to follow safety protocols rigorously while operating machinery or handling materials
- Construction experience is highly desirable for supporting various site activities
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform manual labor efficiently
