As we continue to scale globally, we are looking for an EU/UK Logistics Manager to lead and scale our European logistics operations.
In this role, you will own end-to-end EU/UK freight and transportation operations—from origin through final delivery—while managing freight forwarder and 3PL partnerships, ensuring customs compliance, and driving continuous improvement across our European and UK supply chains. This is a hands-on leadership role that sits at the intersection of strategic planning and day-to-day operational excellence.
Freight & Transportation Management

- Own and manage all EU/UK ocean, air, and road freight movements from origin through final delivery across bonded and non-bonded facilities.
- Lead carrier selection, rate negotiations, contract management, and performance optimisation across freight modes.
- Work with nominated freight forwarders to confirm bookings and manage track-and-trace for on-time delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement across routing, mode optimisation, consolidation, and lead time management.
- Manage freight forecasting, budgeting, auditing, and invoice approval processes for EU/UK operations.
Customs & Compliance
- Understand Bonded vs Non-Bonded warehouse customs requirements.
- Partner with the SKIMS Trade Compliance team to validate import and export documentation, ensuring all customs information is accurate and compliant with UK and EU regulations.
- Monitor regulatory changes affecting UK and EU imports, exports, shipping, product handling, and transportation, and communicate operational impacts to relevant teams.
- Establish controls and standard operating procedures to reduce customs risk and prevent shipment delays, penalties, or overpayment of duties and taxes.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on EU/UK trade compliance, partnering with the internal Trade Compliance team as needed.
3PL, Inbound, & Supplier Management
- Understand ASN flow and submission through systems
- Reconcile inbound ship vs receiving discrepancies
- Manage relationships, contracts, budgets, and performance for EU/UK freight forwarders.
- Work with overseas suppliers to ensure cargo is tendered on time and all documentation is correct; provide guidance on any issues.
- Evaluate and evolve 3PL partnerships to ensure best-in-class service, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness as the business scales.
- Establish KPIs, lead regular business reviews, and implement corrective action plans to exceed service and performance targets.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and lead strategic initiatives to optimise freight spend without compromising service levels.
Operations & Reporting
- Partner cross-functionally with Production, Planning, Sourcing, Accounting, IT, and Distribution teams to align logistics strategy with business priorities.
- Manage Tracking Reports and system data integrity
- Track shipments in real-time, providing timely updates to relevant stakeholders and addressing delays or discrepancies immediately.
- Maintain accurate logistics and freight data within NetSuite ERP, including data entry, filing, and recordation.
- Prepare and analyse logistics reports, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to optimise processes.
- Coordinate with internal cross-functional teams to provide updates on all active and in-transit Purchase Orders.
- Manage Tracking Reports and system data integrity
- Support ad-hoc projects and requests as needed.
-
4+ years of experience in EU/UK logistics, freight, or supply chain roles, preferably within apparel, fashion, or consumer goods.
