permanent full-time member of staff to join our great team. The role will
be working with pupils with SEN.
Job Details
Contract Type: This is a permanent contract.
Hours: 32.5 hours per week (8.30 – 3.30, with 30 mins unpaid lunch break)
Pay: West Sussex Grade 4 (NJC) Points 5-6 (£25,583-£25,989) - full time equivalent)
Closing Date: Thursday 25th June
Interview Date: Friday 3rd July
Visits to the School are welcome and encouraged.
We are looking for a warm, caring, dedicated and organised person to join our friendly and supportive team, who is keen to help ensure that all children feel happy and valued in school and are therefore able to reach their full potential educationally.
The SEN Learning Support Assistant will be responsible for supporting children with additional needs, under the direction and guidance of class teachers and the SENCo.
The role will require some planning of learning provision under the guidance of the class teacher.
We welcome applications from qualified (NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent) and experienced Teaching Assistants. It is desirable that the applicant has experience working with children with SEN.
The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic and flexible team player, required to work under the direct instruction of class teachers and the SENCo to support children with additional needs.
