Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Assistant Head Housekeeper to join our dedicated hospitality team. In this pivotal role, you will support the Head Housekeeper in overseeing daily housekeeping operations, ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Your leadership will help create a welcoming environment that reflects our commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the housekeeping team to deliver exceptional cleaning services across all guest areas and public spaces
- Support the implementation of cleaning schedules, quality standards, and safety procedures
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure rooms and facilities meet brand and guest expectations
- Train and motivate housekeeping staff to maintain high performance and professionalism
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely room readiness and guest requests are fulfilled promptly
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed
- Address guest concerns related to cleanliness swiftly and professionally, escalating issues when necessary
Skills
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles within the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and hospitality standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude
- Good communication skills to liaise with staff and guests seamlessly
Pay: £13.75 per hour
