Job Title: Workshop Co-ordinator & Fitter’s Mate
The Role
- To assemble shutters and blinds
- To assist our Fitter as and when required with blind, curtain and shutter fitting
- Keep the workshop clean and tidy
- Check and maintain stock levels
- To uphold the company’s policy of first class customer service
- Ensure that each project is completed to a high and impeccable standard and that the site is left clean and tidy at all times and in line with health and safety and company policies
Requirements
- Must be eligible to work in the UK
- Good customer facing skills
- Good communication skills
- Must be well presented
- Live within commutable distance of Andover and surrounding areas
- Must be reliable, enthusiastic and polite
- Have a keen eye for detail
- Must be a good problem solver
- Work as part of a team and on his/her own
- Must be capable of planning and managing time effectively
- Have the ability to accurately measure final sizes for curtains, blinds, tracks etc.
- Be aware and maintain Health and Safety requirements.
Advantage
- A full, clean UK driving licence to drive a van/car
- An experience working with hand held power tools and fixings
The position requires the right candidate to be DBS checked.

Corporate polo shirt and fleece will be issued and must be worn during working hours.
This position is a part-time role, Tuesday to Thursday 9am – 5pm with 30 minutes for lunch and is subject to change.
Annual leave is 5 weeks (pro rata) some days to be kept for the Christmas shut down period. Plus bank holidays if they fall on the contracted working days.
