Job Overview
You'll run the day-to-day operation of the park: leading the cleaning, housekeeping, and maintenance teams, keeping the site safe and compliant, and making sure every guest leaves happy. It's a varied, on-your-feet role — no two days look the same, and you'll need to flex between people management, hands-on problem solving, and admin.
What you'll do
- Lead and manage the on-site teams covering cleaning, housekeeping, and maintenance
- Build and own the staff rota, making sure cleaning, hot tub servicing, and maintenance are covered across the season
- Keep the site compliant with gas, electrical, fire, and water safety (including pool plant and Legionella control) — escalating anything that needs it, fast
- Handle guest complaints and feedback, with authority to resolve issues and approve refunds within agreed limits
- Keep an eye on site budgets and staffing costs
- Run monthly stocktakes of the on-site shop and linen stock
- Fulfil weekly online extras ahead of guest arrival
- Place procurement orders and manage the park float
- Report performance, incidents, and compliance status back to the senior team
- Coach and develop your department leads so standards stay consistent even when you're not looking over their shoulder
What we're looking for
- Experience managing a hospitality, holiday park, or leisure site — pool or spa facility experience is a strong plus
- Plant room / pool plant/hot tub experience (or a willingness to learn).
- Solid working knowledge of UK health and safety requirements for holiday accommodation
- A confident people manager who can handle guest complaints as easily as a tricky rota
- Comfortable owning a budget and reporting on it
- Full, clean UK driving licence
Working pattern
This is a full-time role on a rota basis, covering around 5–6 days a week including regular weekends, evenings, and bank holidays — Expect longer hours through the summer season, easing off outside peak times.
What we offer
- Competitive salary, from £30,000 depending on experience
- Ongoing training and support to help you grow into the role
Pay: From £30,000.00 per year
Benefits:
- Employee discount
- Free parking
- On-site parking
Work Location: In person
