Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and professional Barber to join our well established barber shop. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hair styling and delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves providing high-quality grooming services, building strong client relationships, and maintaining a welcoming salon environment. The successful applicant will have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of current barbering trends and techniques.
Duties
- Deliver a wide range of barbering services including haircuts, shaves, beard trims, and styling according to client preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the salon, ensuring all tools and equipment are sterilised regularly.
- Build rapport with clients to foster loyalty and encourage repeat business.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in hair styling and barbering techniques through continuous professional development
Experience
- 5+ years experience as a Barber in the UK with references.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Proficiency in hair styling techniques, including fades, line-ups and beard grooming.
- Strong communication skills to understand client needs and provide professional advice confidently.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment is preferred but not essential for highly motivated candidates willing to learn.
