Leading a team of around 15 colleagues, you'll drive the safe, compliant and efficient delivery of dispensary operations, ensuring medicines reach patients accurately and on time.

What you'll be doing
As our Dispensary Operations Lead, you'll oversee the day-to-day performance of the dispensary team, ensuring work is prioritised effectively and delivered safely, accurately and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and motivating a team to achieve operational and service performance targets
- Managing workflow and prioritisation across dispensary operations to support patient demand
- Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders to maximise order fulfilment and stock availability
- Ensuring compliance with company procedures, regulatory requirements and quality standards
- Investigating and managing near misses, incidents and non-conformances, ensuring corrective actions are implemented
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, quality and patient service
- Conducting regular one-to-ones, performance reviews and development conversations
- Monitoring team performance through KPIs and operational reporting tools
- Supporting the review and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Essential
- Proven experience leading and managing teams to deliver against operational KPIs
- Experience managing performance, engagement and development of colleagues
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions and improvements
- Good understanding of working within regulated environments
- Strong IT skills and confidence working with operational systems
Desirable
- Pharmacy operations experience
- Pharmacy qualification
- Experience within healthcare, logistics or pharmaceutical environments
- Continuous improvement experience
